With over 30 years of experience, Mario is a Civil Engineer specializing in transforming project management within highly complex industries such as mining and energy. His expertise lies in the design and implementation of predictive, agile, and hybrid methodologies that ensure sustainable results. During his 25-year tenure at CODELCO – Chuquicamata Division, he led strategic investment and transformation initiatives, gaining in-depth knowledge of operational and corporate challenges.
Mario combines his practical experience with a strong academic and international standards foundation (Stanford, PMI, ISO), enabling him to assess organizational maturity, design high-impact Project Management Offices (PMOs), and elevate team capabilities through postgraduate teaching.

Actions: Conducted in-depth analysis of governance, processes, and technology, identifying 43 improvement opportunities through surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
MINING (2019–2020) | Senior Consultant – PMO Diagnosis and Design
Key Achievement: Assessed eight divisions and developed an improvement plan for the establishment of divisional PMOs and a corporate PMO, using the OPM3 model and PMI standards.
